In the first concert of the weekend dedicated to the glory mysteries of Espurnes Barroques Festival, what could be better than listening to a Gloria? It will be that of Händel, of sublime and apotheotic beauty, with the voice of the young soprano Alexandra Nowakowski. There will be heritage recovery, with a work by the great Francisco Valls, and the mythological glorification of water and wind that Telemann tells us in his aquatic music. At the exit, the orchestra wafer will be paired with Biolord cider: rising bubbles – like Gloria – arising from apples that take us back to Genesis.
